The purpose of this study was to determine the development tobacco plantations in Lampung district during 19th century colonial period and as a source learning material for history local Lampung. method used research is using historical with several stages, namely heusristic, verification, interpretation historiography. results briefly describe period. And dynamics many other plantation products can be said not easy, plants that were cultivated experienced highs lows production. With conditions being changing weather so it had an impact on production its own tobacco, 1830s began order again farmers Dutch East Indies plant sold international market.
